(OR I used small/thin fabric socks!)
Yarn to tie off
(OR I used Old Hair ties!)
Arm and Hammer Carpet shake
(I used "Love my Carpet"Tropical scent! Any kind/brand will work!)

Pour about 1/2 cup of Scented carpet shake into/onto cloth and Tie it off!
Wa La! Home Made Sachet!
Now Simply place Sachet into offending shoes Over Night,remove the Sachet from shoes following Morning,slip on shoes and go about your day!!

Halloween is tomorrow! My Darling daughter is a

"Zombie Pirate" so I'll be sure and post pics of her

and dress up or not,

I have a couple of Super quick and easy costume ideas

in mind so we'll see! I do LOVE dressing up! Its pretty

much the one and only day out of the year you can dress up,

be someone else and act like a fool! (& NOT get looked at funny

or thrown in Psych Ward!!)

Ben

My poor kiddo is completely heart broken today after losing her partner in crime,BBF,Ben.

Ben is a toy stuffed Rat we bought for her January 22,2009 after (yet another) 1 of our pet rats died.We've had many pet rats over the years and it is of course extremely when they pass away so we bought Ben as sort of a Memorial ..Rats generally only live to be around 2 and we thought it would be nice to have a a toy one she could have and keep with her forever.

Earlier today we went to childrens hospital to be Devins support while she had her cast removed and a new brace put on and while in the waiting room Molly had taken her laptop in and out of her book bag a few times (Ben was in the Book bag).we got up only once to hit the vending machines,after 5 hours at the hospital it was time to head home,as we walked out to the car Molly stuck her hand into her bag to take out Ben and with a Panicked look on her face she yelled "BENS GONE" and darted back inside the hospital,i followed behind her and for more than 45 minutes Molly,me & a Security guard searched for Ben,tracing our steps ,searching under chairs,couches ,vending machines,everywhere we could think of but Ben was no where to be found.

We left our name and number and description of Ben and are hoping and praying he is found by someone and turned in to Lost and Found.If he doesn't make his way back to US,I can only pray a child who really needed a new little buddy like Ben found him and gives him a great home...

Creepiness at the park.....

So I took Molly & her friend to the park near my home when an

over weight,frumpy woman walks up to us with her sweet little pooper (Puppy)

(named Schnitzel!) and strikes up a conversation.

The conversation went something like (Actually,EXACTLY like) this:

(Me) "Oh what an adorable dog!"

(Her)"Thanks,Shes a great companion"

(Me)"I bet!and she's SO friendly!"

(Her) "Yeah,I get really lonely sometimes,so she's been great"

(Me thinking "Wow..Sadness....") =(

(Her) Do you live around here?"

(Me) "uh huh,right over there"

(Her) "I don't have a home,I'm staying with relatives"

(Me thinking"Wow.....REALLY sad...") =/

(Her) "Do you like to go for walks? I like to take Schnitzel to the beach for walks,maybe you could join us sometime"

(Me thinking"Wow...she's desperate for a friend...this.is.sad.)

(Me) "Sure,I like to walk & I LOVE the beach!"

(Her)"GREAT! Whats your phone #?"

(Me thinking "OH SHIT!") "Its 206-blah-blah blah"

(Her) "GREAT! I'll call you!"

(Me thinking.."OK Kathi...don't be a bitch..just go on a

walk with the poor old lady...She NEEDS a friend..Its not gonna kill you!")

(Me..Patting myself on the back for being such an AWESOME Person!!)

We say our goodbyes and The Lady and her pooper,Schnitzel

walk off into the sunset...

A few Minutes later,I look up and am startled to see her

standing there just a few feet away from me .

(Her) "Hey,could you do me a favor?"

(Me) "Umm..Maybe..?"

(Her) "There's this guy I dated,I was wondering if you could go with me to his place?"

(Me) "Umm...HUH?!"

(Her) "well,I think he lied to me and I think I left some of my stuff there"

(Me) "I'm sorry,I don't understand..?"

(Her) "Could you drive me to his place? Its right up the road"

(Me) "Umm..I don't feel comfortable doing that"

(Her) "Well you could just sit in the car.you don't have to come in.He told me he moved,but I think he lied,so I want to see if he's still there,I'm pretty sure he lied,and i think i left some stuff there,i want to go see."

(Me) "Ummm...I don't feel comfortable doing that"

(Her) "You don't have to come in,actually if you COULD come in,that would be GREAT"

(Me) "Ummm...NO."

(HER) "Why Not?"

(Me) "Really? Ummm...I don't know HIM..annnnnndd..I don't know YOU either.Soooooo,I really can't'."

(Her) "But its right up the road"

(Me) "No...I can't"

At this point,without a word,crazy lady and Schnitzel simply stand up and walk away.(THANK GOD!)

***I can not shake this creepy feeling that I was to be her next victim in some sinister plan...

She,some psycho dude in an unknown location "right up the road" and Schnitzer were planning to Abduct me...sexually assault me...and kill me!***

I almost died people!! I ALMOST DIED!!!

So the Husband and I have decided NOT to get the TownHouse after all!

Going to see the Town House TOMORROW!!Getting anxious! I'm ready to start packing NOW! I've been Window shopping and redecorating in my head!LETS DO THIS! =D

1st Day O' Spring!

The first day of Spring Here in Seattle Was GOOOORGEOUS!
The family and I decided to do a "Trial Run" of our possible new stomping Grounds.
We MAY be moving to West Seattle soon and wanted to get a little taste feel of what life
might be like.That Taste? Was SCRUMPTIOUS!! We started our day at Lincoln Park/Beach...
As luck would have it, a sailboat race was in Route between Alki & DesMoines and 100's
of boats were passing through! We had an incredible view of the Olympic Mountains,Races,
and Plenty o'Sun! After a long hike through the park (Its a LARGE Park..Tennis courts,baseball fields,a Salt Water Park w/Pools & Water Slides,Etc!) We decided to meet up with Friends in the
"Junction"..Stores Galore! Book Stores,"Record" Stores,Clothing Stores,Antique Stores,Toy Stores,Candy Stores,you name it,they have it stores! And the restaurants?! Well what are you in the mood for?There's Pizza Joints,Mexican joints,Asian,Italian,Indian,American,Sushi...All this AND More all within WALKING DISTANCE! I felt VERY Comfortable spending the day in West Seattle and am
More than OK with the idea of living there!!

The Town House we are looking at is SO BEAUTIFUL! With Vaulted ceilings,its very open,light and airy! In the back yard is a deck with a HOT TUB! There's a good size kitchen,spacious living room,spacious dining room,breakfast bar,french doors,fireplace,washer/dryer,2 bedroom,2 bath..the only reason I can't say 1000% that we are DEFINITELY moving is because my husband has yet to see the place...its being professionally cleaned and prepped and won't be ready to view until April 2nd. (I've seen the place already of course because its a friends place!)(And don't you know The Town House is now on my mind 24/7! I can hardly think about ANYTHING Else!) We've been offered it flat out so once husband sets foot inside and falls in love, (Which he will!) it'll be all ours!!

I remember one day he did something BAD, it was so bad,it actually made Molly MAD!
Molly was SO mad that she just HAD to Holler!
That crazy little rat went and stole her last Dollar!!
(He had his reasons...to help save up,Harry put that dollar in the "Vacation Cup"!)

Harry did something once that made Dad SORE!!He went and left a powdered DONUT in dads underwear drawer!!
(Harry was disappointed dad had ruined his surprise,he had a picnic planned out under the big blue skies!)

Grandma loved animals,dogs and cats,but would she,COULD she,love a rat??
When Grandma arrived Harry ran for a hug,she screamed and she ran and she tripped on the rug!

Today was a Good Day...

Good Day Today!

Woke up to (What I thought was) a Beautiful Sun Shiny day!
For the 1st time in months I shaved my legs (Don't judge me!!!),
Slabbed on some Sunless tanning lotion,pulled out the capri pants, flip flops
and Short sleeve T (Even Polished my toe nails! =D ) in anticipation
of the "Spring like" Day and I must say,I was feeling pretty good about my "Springy"outfit ! =)

When I walked out the front door this morning and got to my car I realized I had left my keys on the kitchen counter...INSIDE my LOCKED home. Ugh! I POUND on the door,praying to GOD my husband,who was sleeping upstairs,would hear me.THANKFULLY after only a few minutes,my blurry eyed stud muffin,throws open the door ,standing there in just his undies and Snaps "WHAT THE HELL??!!" "Oops,Sorry Honey, My Bad! Go back to sleep!" He walks away grumbling... =/

My Sister in law Lindsey and I decide to go to our new favorite "Hole in wall" Diner up the street (Aren't those usually the best?!)for Breakfast where I order the #3 meal :2 eggs,2 bacon and 2 pancakes. (Jealous?! =P )
Well HOLY CRAP I was SHOCKED when my food arrived and the 2 pancakes were (EACH)THE SIZE OF A FREAKIN' DINNER PLATE and as Thick as my back rolls! (Eeewww!)
I scarfed down as much as a dainty bird, such as myself ,could and I called it quits!
WHEW! SO INCREDIBLY FULL!!
I then proceeded to pay the bill and leave a note in the 'Comment box' that read: "In the future please have Shawn,the hottie Waiter,wait all tables Shirtless!Thanks,K.V."

10am rolls around and its time to work off those ginormous pancakes by taking a little walky poo around west Seattle...Lindsey and I hit a few bookstores in attempt to sell some of her old books in exchange for a few bucks for our afternoon coffee fix! 3 bookstores hit,20 books sold,poor Lindsey only got $12! PATHETIC but ENOUGH!! We grabbed a couple Frappes and headed back to my place to figure out our next move.

By this time I was FREEZING and I was SERIOUSLY REGRETTING my "Springy" outfit!! My poor little toes were getting Numb and I was forced to pull a ratty old hoodie out of my trunk of my car! BOOOOO! =(

After being home for just a few minutes my phone began ringing like crazy,1st Crystal asked if she could swing by & introduce me to her Co-worker & friend Christy (Who I not only met but I ended up REALLY REALLY liking her!!~HI CHRISTY!Call me sometime Girlfriend!!~) A few Minutes Later My friend Autumn asked if she and her ridiculously GORGEOUS Daughter Isabella could stop by for a visit as well."HELL YEAH!!"I Love,Luv,LOVE those girls and don't get to see them enough!

With 15 minutes my home was full of chatter,laughter and full on fun! Everyone oooo'ing and aaaah'ing over Isabella OF COURSE! 9 months old that kid is FULL of spunk and personality!
She crawled over every inch of my down stairs,she danced,she "sang",she is THE BEST!
My home was full of friends and fun and I was sad when everyone had to leave! BOOOOOO!

After fixing and eating dinner with the Family ,and finally seeing my husband off to work it was time for a little "Me time",Time to dye those gray roots and hop in a nice HOT shower!! At last feeling MY age (Or younger)and not "50 something" (DAMN THOSE GRAY HAIRS!) my day is done! My BLOG is WRITTEN (GOOO ME!!) and my kid is in bed ..I'll attempt to get a couple hours of reading in and hit the sack!

Then one day,outside on the Bay, A girl would say; " I will help the town,

And so she went on her quest for she was the very best.
She told the bear to stop it with its scare and she said to the Hare
"Stop chasing the Bear"
Next she told the clowns that they were too ugly and needed to leave town.
But they gave a thumbs down.They ran up the hill and they hid with Bill.
She would run to the top but decided to hop.She stopped by a dog and said
"Are they hiding in the Fog??"She chased them and chased them and caught them
red handed as she finally declared "You all have been banded!" The Bear and
the hare were fine,all the town cheered and told her she was divine!

Lazy Daze..

With the economy in the state that it's in today,I recently found myself Unemployed....
(OK,I lost my job 6 yrs ago & I've been sponging off my husband ever since BUT) I have frantically been searching for a job lately and Surprise, Surprise, No one is hiring!

I've decided instead to channel all of my time and energy into reading,catching up on my Favorite Soap operas and discovering new,fascinating shows like "Dancing with the Bachlorette" and "Make me a Seattle Housewife" (I should SO be on that Show!) OH! My daughter (who happens to be reading over my shoulder) just reminded me that I also spend a lot time with my Family!I LOVE my family! THEY TOTALLY ROCK! ;)

I'm starting my own Blog basically to entertain myself and hopefully anyone who may swing by and read my little ...while I have NO CLUE Exactly what I'll be writing about...whether it be Random thoughts,everyday living,stories from my life as a mom,wife,sister,friend,etc.,WHO KNOWS!? Whatever pops into my head I guess eh?
That's it for now,My Daughter's on her way home from school & I promised to take her to Page2 bookstore for a few new books...Later Gators! =D
