Going to see the Town House TOMORROW!!Getting anxious! I'm ready to start packing NOW! I've been Window shopping and redecorating in my head!LETS DO THIS! =D

1st Day O' Spring!

The first day of Spring Here in Seattle Was GOOOORGEOUS!
The family and I decided to do a "Trial Run" of our possible new stomping Grounds.
We MAY be moving to West Seattle soon and wanted to get a little taste feel of what life
might be like.That Taste? Was SCRUMPTIOUS!! We started our day at Lincoln Park/Beach...
As luck would have it, a sailboat race was in Route between Alki & DesMoines and 100's
of boats were passing through! We had an incredible view of the Olympic Mountains,Races,
and Plenty o'Sun! After a long hike through the park (Its a LARGE Park..Tennis courts,baseball fields,a Salt Water Park w/Pools & Water Slides,Etc!) We decided to meet up with Friends in the
"Junction"..Stores Galore! Book Stores,"Record" Stores,Clothing Stores,Antique Stores,Toy Stores,Candy Stores,you name it,they have it stores! And the restaurants?! Well what are you in the mood for?There's Pizza Joints,Mexican joints,Asian,Italian,Indian,American,Sushi...All this AND More all within WALKING DISTANCE! I felt VERY Comfortable spending the day in West Seattle and am
More than OK with the idea of living there!!

The Town House we are looking at is SO BEAUTIFUL! With Vaulted ceilings,its very open,light and airy! In the back yard is a deck with a HOT TUB! There's a good size kitchen,spacious living room,spacious dining room,breakfast bar,french doors,fireplace,washer/dryer,2 bedroom,2 bath..the only reason I can't say 1000% that we are DEFINITELY moving is because my husband has yet to see the place...its being professionally cleaned and prepped and won't be ready to view until April 2nd. (I've seen the place already of course because its a friends place!)(And don't you know The Town House is now on my mind 24/7! I can hardly think about ANYTHING Else!) We've been offered it flat out so once husband sets foot inside and falls in love, (Which he will!) it'll be all ours!!

Every time I turned around I'd find a "Rat Raisin"!

I remember one day he did something BAD, it was so bad,it actually made Molly MAD!
Molly was SO mad that she just HAD to Holler!
That crazy little rat went and stole her last Dollar!!
(He had his reasons...to help save up,Harry put that dollar in the "Vacation Cup"!)
(Such a sweet boy!)

Harry the Rat,he was NEVER a BORE!!
Harry did something once that made Dad SORE!!He went and left a powdered DONUT in dads underwear drawer!!
(Harry was disappointed dad had ruined his surprise,he had a picnic planned out under the big blue skies!)

Ever wondered why Mom is a grouch? Its because Harry Chewed a BIG hole right in the couch!!
(OK,Harry had no good reason for that one,but hey,he's a rat,They chew,what can you do?!)

Harry the Rat was SO scary!
It was time to put on his big toothy grin,for Grandmas heart,Harry wanted to win.
Grandma loved animals,dogs and cats,but would she,COULD she,love a rat??
When Grandma arrived Harry ran for a hug,she screamed and she ran and she tripped on the rug!

Today was a Good Day...

Good Day Today!

Woke up to (What I thought was) a Beautiful Sun Shiny day!
For the 1st time in months I shaved my legs (Don't judge me!!!),
Slabbed on some Sunless tanning lotion,pulled out the capri pants, flip flops
and Short sleeve T (Even Polished my toe nails! =D ) in anticipation
of the "Spring like" Day and I must say,I was feeling pretty good about my "Springy"outfit ! =)

When I walked out the front door this morning and got to my car I realized I had left my keys on the kitchen counter...INSIDE my LOCKED home. Ugh! I POUND on the door,praying to GOD my husband,who was sleeping upstairs,would hear me.THANKFULLY after only a few minutes,my blurry eyed stud muffin,throws open the door ,standing there in just his undies and Snaps "WHAT THE HELL??!!" "Oops,Sorry Honey, My Bad! Go back to sleep!" He walks away grumbling... =/

My Sister in law Lindsey and I decide to go to our new favorite "Hole in wall" Diner up the street (Aren't those usually the best?!)for Breakfast where I order the #3 meal :2 eggs,2 bacon and 2 pancakes. (Jealous?! =P )
Well HOLY CRAP I was SHOCKED when my food arrived and the 2 pancakes were (EACH)THE SIZE OF A FREAKIN' DINNER PLATE and as Thick as my back rolls! (Eeewww!)
I scarfed down as much as a dainty bird, such as myself ,could and I called it quits!
WHEW! SO INCREDIBLY FULL!!
I then proceeded to pay the bill and leave a note in the 'Comment box' that read: "In the future please have Shawn,the hottie Waiter,wait all tables Shirtless!Thanks,K.V."

10am rolls around and its time to work off those ginormous pancakes by taking a little walky poo around west Seattle...Lindsey and I hit a few bookstores in attempt to sell some of her old books in exchange for a few bucks for our afternoon coffee fix! 3 bookstores hit,20 books sold,poor Lindsey only got $12! PATHETIC but ENOUGH!! We grabbed a couple Frappes and headed back to my place to figure out our next move.

By this time I was FREEZING and I was SERIOUSLY REGRETTING my "Springy" outfit!! My poor little toes were getting Numb and I was forced to pull a ratty old hoodie out of my trunk of my car! BOOOOO! =(

After being home for just a few minutes my phone began ringing like crazy,1st Crystal asked if she could swing by & introduce me to her Co-worker & friend Christy (Who I not only met but I ended up REALLY REALLY liking her!!~HI CHRISTY!Call me sometime Girlfriend!!~) A few Minutes Later My friend Autumn asked if she and her ridiculously GORGEOUS Daughter Isabella could stop by for a visit as well."HELL YEAH!!"I Love,Luv,LOVE those girls and don't get to see them enough!

With 15 minutes my home was full of chatter,laughter and full on fun! Everyone oooo'ing and aaaah'ing over Isabella OF COURSE! 9 months old that kid is FULL of spunk and personality!
She crawled over every inch of my down stairs,she danced,she "sang",she is THE BEST!
My home was full of friends and fun and I was sad when everyone had to leave! BOOOOOO!

After fixing and eating dinner with the Family ,and finally seeing my husband off to work it was time for a little "Me time",Time to dye those gray roots and hop in a nice HOT shower!! At last feeling MY age (Or younger)and not "50 something" (DAMN THOSE GRAY HAIRS!) my day is done! My BLOG is WRITTEN (GOOO ME!!) and my kid is in bed ..I'll attempt to get a couple hours of reading in and hit the sack!

A seal who slipped on a banana peel
A fish sat on a dish,while a bee played in the sea.

And there was a Bear,who was afraid of Hares.
Then one day,outside on the Bay, A girl would say; " I will help the town,
I will stop the clowns and the bears and the Hares."
And so she went on her quest for she was the very best.
She told the bear to stop it with its scare and she said to the Hare
"Stop chasing the Bear"
Next she told the clowns that they were too ugly and needed to leave town.
But they gave a thumbs down.They ran up the hill and they hid with Bill.
She would run to the top but decided to hop.She stopped by a dog and said
"Are they hiding in the Fog??"She chased them and chased them and caught them
red handed as she finally declared "You all have been banded!" The Bear and
the hare were fine,all the town cheered and told her she was divine!

Lazy Daze..

With the economy in the state that it's in today,I recently found myself Unemployed....
(OK,I lost my job 6 yrs ago & I've been sponging off my husband ever since BUT) I have frantically been searching for a job lately and Surprise, Surprise, No one is hiring!

I've decided instead to channel all of my time and energy into reading,catching up on my Favorite Soap operas and discovering new,fascinating shows like "Dancing with the Bachlorette" and "Make me a Seattle Housewife" (I should SO be on that Show!) OH! My daughter (who happens to be reading over my shoulder) just reminded me that I also spend a lot time with my Family!I LOVE my family! THEY TOTALLY ROCK! ;)

I'm starting my own Blog basically to entertain myself and hopefully anyone who may swing by and read my little ...while I have NO CLUE Exactly what I'll be writing about...whether it be Random thoughts,everyday living,stories from my life as a mom,wife,sister,friend,etc.,WHO KNOWS!? Whatever pops into my head I guess eh?
That's it for now,My Daughter's on her way home from school & I promised to take her to Page2 bookstore for a few new books...Later Gators! =D
